Wonderfalls
Wondefalls. I've pretty much fallen in love with Brian Fuller's work. If I were in high school, I'd be a swooning fangirl wanting to have his babies. Now that I think about it, he *is* kind of cute and I've been single too long :P Doubt I'd ever have a chance with him though. Dead Like Me has always been one of my favorites, and I'm currently 'flixing Wonderfalls. The fact that I identify so much with his characters is faintly disturbing, and at the same time strangely comforting.
In the words of the show, about gen-Y women who are happy underachievers. Am I an underachiever? I'm not clear on this point, but I'm no longer obsessed about it like I was in high school. Perhaps some day I'll be a happy Wal-mart retail clerk who just happens to have a PhD. My degree would probably be packed in a random cardboard box among a pile of others. In fact, I'm not even sure where my other degrees are. I do remember getting them, just not where I actually put them. Hope my mom knows though.. it'd be an awful waste of money and time if I didn't even know where my degrees were after so many years of college.
