Munich

They were showing Munich at the university theatre last night. I wasn't planning to go. But I'd left my laptop charger in my lab, and I had to go there anyway. The night was fairly cold and windy. It was a good 20min walk, with me wishing I'd worn my jacket, and not just sweats.

I loved the movie. Probably not because of the right reasons though. Political intrigue, assassination plots and the mossad are all good. But what really captivated me was the cities in Europe. Munich was quite different from the usual fantasy that Spielberg creates. The movie is dead-set in reality (excuse the bad pun). After watching the movie, I really felt closer to Europe. And last night, I dreamed all about touring Europe. Some day, I'll take a whole month off to vacation in europe. Right now, I want that more than anything else... (well, maybe a European boyfriend to show me around :P )
