Wheee~ I've been making tons of icons lately, since I bought more userpics *points to icon* Mmm... Lucia. XD
Anyway!
I figure I should make a real update with a meme for once.
As I say that though, I go "what have I done worth posting about?" answer: A whole lot of nothing.
I'm thinking about picking up a few characters in ares_arcanum XD; bad me.
Hmmm *racks brain for stuff to talk about* My hair is fading terribly. XD
See? And I was at work, so that's why I look so bored XD
Other than that, I got nothing. On to my second drabble meme.
Notes: Most of these are in the Crashers timeline, except Help Us/Save Us/Take Us Away, and Professional Killer. :3 And Baby Got Back came up, and I was like "Oh hell no." XD ONWARD.
1. Help Us/Save Us/Take Us Away - KMFDM
Ran looked at Yuushi. If Queen found out about their relationship, they were fucked. Ran, being in Weiss, Yuushi being in Crashers. They had been told to keep away from each other.
But.
They couldn’t They managed to have secret meetings. But all the sneaking behind Kritiker’s back was wearing on them.
They wanted to gt away. Far away from Kiritker and Japan.
Every night, Ran silently prayed. “Help us/Save us/Take us away.” Even though he didn’t think he deserved to be helped, saved, or taken away.
But.
It was what Yuushi wanted. For them to be happy together. Too bad they couldn’t have that here. And Ran ultimately wanted Yuushi to be happy. So he set his beliefs about himself aside.
“Help us/Save us/Take us away…”
2. Back & Forth - Brisk&Brown
Yuushi grabbed Ran’s hand, who turned and gave him a serious look.
“You have the power in your eyes… Ran…” Yuushi said, staring into Ran’s violet eyes. Ran, in turn, blinked.
“What?”
“Your eyes. They’re beautiful, you know? You have this power. You can melt hearts of ice with your eyes.” Yuushi explained, He just wished that it worked on Ran himself.
3. Don’t Stay - Linkin Park
Sometimes… Yuushi didn’t know what to do. Sometimes, he really wanted to be with Ran, other times, he just wanted to punch the redhead right in the face.
This was one of those times when he wanted to punch Ran. No matter how hard he tried, Ran was totally unresponsive. He kept telling himself to just forget it all.
He was tired of feeling unwanted, unneeded. Tired of being ignored.
4. If I Fell - The Beatles
Ran glanced at Yuushi across the mission table, while Queen instructed them on their mission. And Yuushi was staring at him. It was almost unnerving.
Afterwards, Yuushi went up to Ran. Why he was blushing, the redhead didn’t want to know.
“I hope you see…”
“See what?”
“That I…”
“…yes?”
“Would love to love you.” Yuushi finished quickly. He couldn’t believe he’d said it. But he’d talked it over with Reiichi.. And the eldest Crasher had told him to just come out with his feelings. Yuushi had taken Reiichi’s advice, and now Ran was giving him the most confused look. He would have laughed if he wasn’t so serious about this.
5. Don’t Let Me Down - The Beatles
They were working on a mission. Lately, they’d been getting a few missions together, which was odd. It was just the two of them. They were waiting, for now.
“Don’t let me down,” Yuushi warned Ran. “Don’t let your vulgarity get in the way of this mission.”
“Yeah yeah.” Ran said, rolling his eyes. Honestly, what a pest. This would be a lot more comfortable if Yuushi would stop giving him looks. What kind of looks they were, Ran couldn’t say. It better not be what he thought it was, though.
6. You’re No Good - KMFDM
“You’re wrong about me. I’m not the good person you think I am.” Ran insisted. Yuushi was persistent. “I’m better off alone.”
“No, that’s not true!” Yuushi told Ran. He didn’t believe that Ran was a bad person. Sure, he’d done some bad things…. But who hadn’t?
“People say ‘You’re no good’ to me for a reason, Yuushi.” Ran said, sighing. He brushed his hair back with his hand. “Really, I’m better off alone. You’re better off without me.”
No matter what Ran said though, Yuushi was going to keep trying. He had different beliefs about the matter, after all.
7. All My Loving - The Beatles
“Close your eyes, and I’ll kiss you.” Ran promised, as he stood outside Yuushi’s house with the blond. He was being reassigned, and Yuushi was really upset. He turned to the blond, giving him a soft smile.
Yuushi gave him a shocked look at first, then obliged. He closed his eyes and waited to Ran to keep good on his words.
Leaning forward, the redhead captured Yuushi’s lips, albeit momentarily.
“Tomorrow, I’ll miss you.” He said, then started to walk away. After all, he was to be reassigned immediately.
8. Heaven - DJ Sammy
Yuushi was holding Ran in his arms as Ran slept. Yuushi had been sleeping too, but was wide awake. Ran shifted, then curled up against the blond. Yuushi smiled. It was pretty cute. Ran was really all that he wanted. He was in heaven.
Not that he’d ever say any of this to anyone. He’d just think about it on night’s where he was holding Ran in his arms. Ran seemed almost human when he was sleeping. Too bad it ended as soon as he awoke.
Oh well. Yuushi would still stand by him. It was the “Knightly” thing to do. And he loved the redhead.

When Yuushi next saw Ran after he’d been reassigned, it was like looking at someone totally transformed. It was the same cold, distant Ran… But now he had blood on his hands. It was weird. Yuushi didn’t think any less of him, not at all, but… He stared longingly. Ran looked like a tiger on the attack, the way he was fighting.
When it came to Kritiker, one did not ask questions. Not if they knew what was good for them.
“Tragically yours” was a good way to describe Ran’s feelings toward Yuushi, and vice versa. Yuushi looked back as Naru finished putting the “fireworks” together. They were going to blow this joint… And then Yuushi would go back to Crashers. Ran to Weiss. Hopefully.
Weiss. Bane of Yuushi’s existence. It had turned an into a professional killer. He hated that. He had wanted Ran to stay in Crashers. Not be swithed to another team. Maybe he was selfish, but he didn’t want Ran to be a professional killer…
10. Harder to Breathe - Maroon 5
Yuushi grabbed at Ran. Who cares if he wasn’t being the perfect gentleman? Certainly not him. And Ran definitely wouldn’t be one to talk! He kissed the redhead quickly, then pulled back, but didn’t loosen his grip. He had the tendency of getting very physical, it seemed.
Ran glared like there was no tomorrow. “What are you doing?”
“You don’t like it?”
“Let me go.” Ran said, looking away.
Yuushi’s breath caught in his lungs. He wasn’t hearing a no. And he was definitely in control of this situation. He liked it. So he leaned forward and kissed the redhead again, holding it this time.
And grudgingly, Ran kissed back.
