I love this to PIECES. This was all and more than I expected, you write beautifully and the emotions are very clear, I could actually see Gin thinking and feeling these things. Comparing him as the serpent to Aizen's dragon was creative. I loved this and it's TOTALLY going in my memories. Thanks so much!

What was interesting was originally the comparison was going to be Gin = dragon, Aizen = demon, to stick with Japanese culture, but then I thought Gin was more like the snake in the Garden of Eden, and Aizen was powerful like a dragon, plus he'd be more menacing while Gin could be sneaky if he was the serpent.

But anyway, I'm really glad you liked it.

Lovely job; I really liked this! I always enjoy introspection, and Gin is an incredibly fascinating character. I really liked the way you addressed the prompt, and I enjoyed this piece very much.

I'm glad you liked it. I don't write Gin POV very often, so it's good to know I got it.
