A Bit of Non-Fiction

One of the world's worst brains when it comes to remembering stuff. But the library by whom I'm employed has been putting together a little "local history" project called Kids These Days: Growing Up in Newport Beach for a while now, and they sent out an announcement asking if any of us might have a few recollections we could pitch in.
So I dredged something up. Those of you who are related to me may feel free to chime in on the page there and tell the world at large that I've gotten it all wrong.
