videos, burns, and tradessolusfidesApril 22 2006, 02:07:54 UTC
we're loading the video over the modem connection, but Ash is highly curious as to how it will turn out (she's a massive RENT fan).
As for burns... burns are stoopid. Burns should go away, because we don't like them. so there.
As for our previous talks about manga trades, I will be over in the Lady Lake area from May 1st to a little after the 24th. there are a number of good half-way points I can imagine meeting for a light snack, anime yack, and book trade.
btw, we just watched the DVD's of Chobits (with english subtitles, ofcourse). It is quite good, and quite funny! There's still one or two things left to be explained in my opinion, but perhaps they're in the manga... I guess I'll have to flip through them the next time I'm at B&N. Also, we FINALLY got to see Howl's Moving Castle. GENIUS!!! I enjoyed it quite muchly... and then some. As for Final Fantasy Unlimited... eh... it got annoyingly repetitive with those "loading my weapon in sequential and 'cool' ways" type scenes. I couldn't get past the fourth episode before I moved on to something else. we're borrowing a bunch of DVD's from Ash's cousin who has many an anime. She scours eBay.

I think Vanessa reads Chobits. I don't know if she's seen the anime, though. But I'll ask if she knows how they compare.
I still haven't seen Howl's Moving Castle. I'm supposed to borrow it from a friend, but she keeps forgetting to bring it for me.
