A live action adaptation of cult classic manga series and anime film Akira is in the works. Today the news broke that several actors are being courted for the lead roles, Kaneda and Tetsuo--and every single one of them is white. *DEEP, ANNOYED SIGH* Kloves's name had me interested in this, despite unfamiliarity with the source material, but hope is dwindling fast.

actually, Kloves was the final straw for me, I just did not like any of the scripts after CoS.
