The Books of the Dead
Heavy and Black are the Books of the Dead, stretching away on the endless shelves. Advancing slowly, filling the space with their morbid record. How long till we are merely a page in a book?
Guess what I've been doing today! Well, I only had to deal with the Death books for a bit. I was happy to see that most people lived to a pretty good age, although there were a few sad cases where people died very young, I didn't like that. I actually spent quite a while today doing a job for the Lord Lyon King of Arms, imaging the Roll of Scottish Arms, which seems to list everyone who has a coat of arms (it's a lot more than you'd think). It was nice to see quite a few Frasers in there and a few James Frasers too. I also found out that there was a James A R Fraser born in Scotland the same year as me. Well, I found it interesting. It was a bit bizarre going through a book about heraldry while listening to the Rocky Horror Show, but ah well.
Must get sleep now, Have to start early tomorrow.
