Positivity: ...continued

So, this is not going entirely to plan so far, but it is a very busy week. Anyway, here is a catch-up with the things in the last few days.

Friday: I met Anne in Liverpool, this made me happy. We went to Liverpool 1 and had lunch at Zizzi, which was nice and reminded me of the times we ate at Ocean Terminal. It was good spending time with her again and we should be meeting up not long after Christmas, which I will look forward to. I did manage to do some Christmas shopping, which was also good.

Saturday: I went out for a meal with Karate people. We went to the Cross House, which is a nice pub, the food is always tasty and the went smoke-free before the ban, which made it a better pub during that time. I spent a fair amount of the night talking to the dad of one of the young karatekas about science and sci-fi, which was pretty fun. When we left the pub a group of us went back to sensei's for more drinks. There was whiskey and guitar and talking; I left about four. I see it as a successful night.

Sunday: Not surprisingly, I have been very tired today. Nothing massive happened today, but I have had a nice day. Ruth is back now and we had both grandparents round for lunch, it may not be a massive, exciting thing, but it was nice having the family together. Lunch was good and then we all had a go on the Wii, aptitude does seem to be related to age, but I think a good time was had by all. It was a nice day and bodes well for next week.
