I know it has been a long time since I last posted and I may get round to updating properly some time, but not right now.

As I was wandering round the city today I went past the Usher Hall and decided to find out about the discounted tickets they have. The upshot of this is that I am likely to be going there every so often and only paying £5 a time, for the best seats I can get; it would be nice if other people wanted to come along too.

The deal is that you have to be under 26 and sign up on the RSNO website, they will send you a card and if you show that for any RSNO concert (excluding festive ones) you can get any ticket for £5. According to the guy at the Box Office you can book in advance as well, so you can get in early and get the expensive tickets in the Grand Circle for a sixth of their normal price.

There's not a lot left of the season, but still a few things I would like to go to, in particular:
Mussorgsky/Ravel - Pictures at an Exhibition, 2nd March
Shostakovich - Symphony No5, 13th April
I may be tempted by other things if people recommend them to me, but I definitely want to go to the Shostakovich.

If anyone is interested in this then let me know, it would be nice to get a few people together to go to these.
