Indeed it has. I am still working at the General Registers Office, but I have now started working for
FormFonts too, mainly doing IKEA furniture at the moment, but Fred (the CEO) wants me to do a load of military stuff soon; I can't believe that someone is willing to pay me to sit in front of a computer and make tanks. Actually, he's expecting the military stuff to get loads of downloads, so I will be paid more for doing fun stuff! If you want to see the (not so) exciting things I've done so far, or find out what the latest stuff I have done is, then you can have a look
here. My estimated profits are around $120 in the last few days, but slipping because I haven't uploaded anything this weekend, so I'll have to get on to that.
I also now have a digital camera, which is very nice, even if it is old and a bit dodgy on the battery compartment and stuff. I'm looking forward to taking some pics and getting them online. It shall also be used for the quest to find a photo of me that doesn't suck, I always swore it couldn't be done, but I may be wrong and now I can take loads of shots until I find one I'm happy with, which is good.
I'm pretty nervous about them impending gig. Logically, it should be ok, but it's a long time since I played live and I get nervous with people watching me. Practices went ok though, guitar parts are ok, the croud shouldn't be too hostile (though it's likely to be people whose opinions I care about, which is probably worse) and we can always drown our sorrows afterwards if it all goes wrong.
Sum me up in six words or less.
