hogwarts calls its students into its hallowed halls for the dawning of the new school year...
You're eleven years old. Pureblood, mixed blood, or muggleborn, you're getting a letter in the post today. Whether you were expecting it and had been preparing for weeks now, or not, you're going to Hogwarts.
The new school year is bound to bring a great deal of excitement, be it with news of the war leaking in from the outside, or a great Winter Ball for all the students to attend. Either way, you'll be bound to attend Potions, Transfiguration, Charms, Defense, and a slew of other classes as you rush through these hallowed halls in the hope of ensuring you might not miss a minute of lunch.
... but outside the comforts of the school walls, danger continues to lurk.
... on the other hand, in the real world outside the revered school grounds resides an ever-present, very real threat of Voldemort and the War looming all around. Though people continue to attempt to live normal lives, brushing their fears and inhibitions aside, the danger continues on while they lie in wait, holding on for the next horrors on the path, mere steps towards the final resolution of the conflict.
Days, months, years - bated breath marks the final calling.
