It was endearing, really, how...innocent she was. How her world was so different to the one I was used to. Of course, parties and back rooms - and then that experience in Pompeii - well, I had never had a normal life. All the perks of being a spy. I was always happy to make someone else's - a girl was beautiful as Zelda, especially - life more colourful.

"It would be my pleasure." This time, I believe, the words were really quite literal.

"I am sure it would," Zelda said lightly. "I've no illusions about love, Lucifer. I don't want you to think I expect anything other than pleasure."

Which was definitely good. Of course, some women just said that, but I was hoping she wasn't going to be one of those. I smiled at her, charming and wonderful as always, and kept walking. "I'm glad," I said and then added after a thoughtful moment - long enough to be considered thoughtful anyway, "thought you should never just discount love."

"Perhaps not," Zelda said, biting her lip slightly. "But I don't feel that strongly about you at this point. I am attracted to you, and intrigued about what happens beyond kissing, but love, no."

"It's often best to keep that complication out of things," I agreed. Wholeheartedly. Of course, I did not like to think on love after the roundabout game Miss Pok played me at - it was definitely not something I wished to think on at all. Love was a complicated thing, and lust...now that was much easier to deal with. I was very, very good at dealing with lust. "And on matters of things that happen beyond kissing, you'll be pleased to know, I am...well-versed in those arts. I am also told I am a good teacher." We couldn't get to the Compound fast enough.

Zelda arched a brow and looked over at him, assessing him carefully. "I've no doubt of it," she said after a moment. "You seem quite capable in most things, dear Lucifer. I only hope I live up to the challenge."

"I have no doubt you will," I echoed, chuckling a little, warm and easy. "You seem like you like a good challenge." The Compound, much to my relief, seemed to be getting closer and closer.

Zelda smirked slightly. "Oh, you have no idea. I live for a challenge."

"Then I am sure you will be a most...eager student," I said, chuckling, and lead her into the Compound, where I gestured for her to lead the way to her rooms. I couldn't help but think on what her reactions to some of the more...intimate things might be, considering how she had reacted to my kisses before.

"Oh, most definitely," Zelda said, nodding in the direction of her room. "This way, Lucifer. And then, hopefully, we can get acquainted."

Oh, I was hoping so as well. I let her lead me to her room and shut the door behind us, pulling her closer as soon as I could do so.

Zelda laughed, slightly nervous. "I suppose you're a bit eager then?"

"I have been wanting to do this since...well, outside." And previously, I was sure, but I had been certain then that someone like Zelda was someone I wanted to take my time getting to know. I kissed her again, soft and warm. "Are you not even a little eager, my darling?"

"Oh, more than a bit," Zelda conceded, relaxing as he kissed her. "Curious and nervous but more than a bit eager."

"That is a good combination," I agreed with a small chuckle, fingers sliding along her spine as I dipped my head, mouthing along her neck gently.

"Ah, that's quite nice," Zelda murmured, tilting her head a little to grant him more access. "You must have done this many times to be so skilled."

That was preferable. Zelda would rather he know what he was doing to initiate her than them both to be flying blind.
