What's your favorite time of day? Why?
My favorite time of day is morning, when the sun's high above my head and a new day is stretched out before me in pale golden light. I'm awake, and on my toes (most of the time, depending on how much I've slept), and Navi's there telling me what there is to do.
I set my jaw.
And leap. Leap into a river, or onto the trail, or into danger, it doesn't matter what. I'm the Hero of Time, and that's exactly the sort of thing people expect me to do. When I'm alone on the road, it doesn't matter.
Hopefully travelling in the early morning gives me a jump on the monsters terrorizing villages and other groups of honest working individuals. And even if it doesn't, if I can feel like I'm ahead of the race, it makes all the difference. Which reminds me, I haven't eaten in three days.
