It's small and hard and it's an ideal slingshot bullet, although I don't really know what you could grow from it. *offers one to Johnny to inspect*
Next thing's you just have push the seed into this little slot, here. Then, *pulls slingshot back to his chin* you just shoot at whatever it is you're aiming for. Only, always aim a little higher than what you want to hit, otherwise instead of... incapacitating your enemy, as it were... you'll hit him in the shin, and will probably just end up getting him bloody furious, and he'll try to cut off your head before you have time to tell him that it shouldn't have hurt that much at all, until the next day, really.
Then just let fly! *releases the seed and it flies across the sky in an elegant ark, and lands with a satisfying 'thunk' in a stump*
*offers the slingshot to Johnny* You try it!
But don't get discouraged if you muff it at first, I ended up hitting people I didn't really want to before, and one time against all odds I accidentally shot myself in the foot, and it hurt for a long time. That's okay though because it healed eventually and I can still jump and all the important stuff for a hero to do, of course.
*looks at the little seed as he listens carefully to Link, then stares at the slingshot when it's offered to him* Ok...lets see now...
*carefully loads the slingshot and looks around, choosing to aim at a flower* Ok...so a little higher...pull it back, and~ *lets go and the seed flys...straight up*
*Johnny nods and sticks his tongue out in concentration* Alright you little flower...now it is time...
*fires the slingshot and gapes as the flower explodes in a confetti of petals* I...I did it... *turns and grins widely at Link* I did it! You're an amazing teacher Link!
