Catching up, catching up o/~
Wow. I totally disappeared, didn't I? XD No, I haven't beaten Phantom Hourglass yet -- I keep giving myself headaches by staring at the DS. Besides, DL needs to eat [again], and I can't lay on my stomach and play with it plugged in. I bought my DS Wednesday. It's one of the new crimson and black ones. I named it. I named my DS Dark Link. Or DL the DS for short.
[What? It's even the right colors and everything. And especially with my green-skinned 'cube I call Link sometimes, how could I resist? And that's the nickname I entered, too: "Dark Link." Hee. /fangirl]
Anyway, so far, PH is fun. There's some nifty use of the DS controls -- including the mic -- and the boss fights are creative. And I'm trying to resist the temptation to take DL to work with me, because I'm really not supposed to have electronic games or the like in the kiosk with me. Ah, well, so far making outlines and character profiles and such has kept me busy. Enough. I'm still trying to figure out if my Great and Evil Plan for Future Hyrule is good, too complicated, or just too dorky.
Even better, I got a random idea for a fanfic100 story that is nagging at me, even though I'm trying to finish this crackfic and then the darkfic I want to have finished by Halloween.
...crap. NaNo starts in a month. I'm not even sure if I'm doing it this year or not. Need to figure that out later.
And my sister's going to be gone all weekend. Damn, it's going to be quiet in here. Maybe I can get some writing done. Maybe. And maybe I'll waste time playing PH [damn it, DL, how long does it take you to *charge*?]. I might watch episode one of the Neuro anime again, but that's only if I can get Ganondorf to recognize that, yes, it can play sound -- it's awesome, but... it's just not as fun if I can't hear Neuro saying "Evil Javelin." I will admit that my understanding on the episode comes purely from scanslations of the manga; I can't wait for this to get fansubbed.
I just noticed I've got some weird kind of trinity now. Ganondorf the computer, Link the Gamecube, and Dark Link the Nintendo DS. Does this mean I need to name something Zelda? XD
