It is... but I suppose the difference is good. My home was a very bad place.

Well, I did have the Great Deku Tree... and there's the other Kokiri in the forest... but I can't be with them anymore, so I guess not.

Yeah. He was the forest's guardian, and the Kokiri are the children of the forest. They raised me as if I were one of them, but I'm not. If I tried to stay in the woods with them for too long, I'd die.

I'm not sure. That's how it goes when Hylians enter the Lost Woods, though. I guess it's part of the forest's magic, to keep itself safe.
