Also leaving it open as to who else has gotten there at this point OTZnot_a_rockFebruary 2 2009, 21:20:23 UTC
Don't worry. I don't fight, but I'm not helpless.
*Ki doesn't levitate - it's no faster than running, really - but arrives as quickly as though she had, a bundle of towels for makeshift bandages in hand. Her powers don't extend to healing but she sure does know first aid.
There's a lot of blood on the sand and she gasps, running up to Link.*

[Kevas ran full tilt to the beach with his rucksack slung over his shoulder. Whatever had happened, it sounded like Link really needed help and he had a number of bandages in his rucksack.
It looked like there had been one hell of a fight judging by the amount of blood.
A few people had already arrived, but the bartender was the only one he recognized. Hopefully Link wasn't the one bleeding out.]
[But not fine enough to try and get up without help, and Jak takes Link's hand silently, gritting his teeth and grunting in pain as he slowly hauls himself to his feet. The teen's far too pale, his skin is beaded with sweat and gripping Link's hand a little tighter than he'd like, but he's lived through worse.]
[Ki startles at the appearance of the troll - where she comes from, nothing which looks like THAT is friendly - but Link doesn't seem to mind, nor does anyone else, so... When in Isis...
But Link's friend standing up? If Link was fine, then he must have been the one to spill so much blood.]
Oh! Are you sure...
[He... really shouldn't be able to stand up like that.
Wat.]
Ah - please, don't push yourself...
[It's a timid suggestion, she's so shocked by the fact he can stand at all. But she glances over him, and indeed, nothing is bleeding now, not badly... Was there healing magic here? There's so much going on it's hard for her to tell.]
Well it looks like the kid is alright. His friend on the other, wasn't looking too good. Kevas stepped in front of him to keep him from going anywhere.]
Joo shouldn't be movin' mon. Hell, joo shouldn't even be standin'. Joo just gonna make dat wound worse, might even start bleedin' again. It needs to get patched up before it be gettin' infected.
[Kevas sets his rucksack down and digs through it, looking for the bandages.]
Someone needs to get a healah dough. All I know be basic first aid.
[With people here to help, he moves out of the way. Kevas has bandages, thank Farore. The remains of Link's stab wound ache, and the patch of his blood a few yards away is still drying, but Jak's injuries are way worse, thanks to the healing Jak quickly gave him.]
[Great. He's damp, covered in blood, in pain, fighting off Dark Eco and clad only in his boxers in front of an audience. What a great first impression on these people he's never met before.]
I'm fine, it's not deep.
[But the huge green guy with the impressive teeth didn't look like the kind of guy Jak wanted to mess with right now, so he just presses his hand to his side and sulks at Remy.]
Erol happened. Figured the punishment was worth it to attack us.
[Link's friend didn't want the attention, that much was clear. Ki demurely gives him some room and instead fusses over someone she felt comfortable pressing it on - Link. The large... green... um, man, seemed to have the older boy well in hand, anyway. Sometimes you just needed different healers for different people.
And - she admitted, a little guiltily - the other man was VERY handsome, but she'd rather be tending to Link, if there was a choice...]
Link, are you sure you're okay? There's so much blood...
[Her hands brushed gently over the dried blood along his side. Surely he had been injured, how else did all that get there? He just... wasn't bleeding now...
Who's Erol - are you hurt? What -
I'm coming to help, where are you?!

We're on the beach, but... it's dangerous, be careful.

He saw the blood on the sand and looked for Jak, mildly relieved that he didn't see Erol.
Ki was there. That was comforting]
Did he get away?
