American Idol Season 8 Top 36 - Week 2
Here's my notes from this week.
Jasmine Murray - Very pretty. Not too bad but I expected better and thought she could have done more.
Matt Giraud - I wanted to like him but no. He seemed a little off in it really.
Janine Vailes - I love Maroon 5. She masacred that song!
Nick Mitchell/Norman Gentle - NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He's just not a good singer and he's annoying.
Allison Iraheta - She came off flaky in the interview but she sang really well.
Kris Allen - Started slow but not bad after he got going. Could have been better but not bad.
Megan Joy Corkrey - Not a bad voice but very blah singer really.
Matt Breitzke - Very cute. Nice voice. A little swkward performing I think but the singing was good.
Jesse Langseth - There's just something about her voice that annoyed me. Not sure what it was.
Kai Kalama - It was ok. He was making some weird faces which put me off a bit.
Mishavonna Henson - No. Too many bad notes and stuff.
Adam Lambert - I think he went a little overboard and over dramatic but a good voice and enjoyable.
Top Guy - Adam Lambert
Top Girl - Allison Iraheta
3rd Person - Kris Allen
Wildcard(s) I'd like to see - Matt Breitzke
It's disappointing because up til tonight, I really liked Jasmine. I want to see Matt go on too but I think Adam and Kris did better. Tho he may pull what Michael did last week and make it in. I guess we'll see. Overall, the guys are doing better on the show this season.
