Busy Day
Today was a busy day with a lot of running around. I don't think my kitties are too happy with me since just as we would be getting settled here, I'd be taking off again. I left the house 3 different times today.
Remote Starter - After grabbing some breakfast, I headed over to a car place (ironically named Rainbow) to get a remote car starter installed in my car. It's a Christmas gift from my mother. While I waited on that, I watched part of the DVD they had playing there. (Mr. Deeds I think it was called.) I'm not a fan of Adam Sandler. Afterward, I stopped to gas up and discovered gas around here is finally below $2. Nice.
Dinner Plans - I met bearfinch and his partner up in Niagara Falls for dinner at the place we usually go to. I ordered the gnocchi to see how they compared to my mother's gnocchi. My mother should go there and teach them how to make them right. The sauce too! Had a nice chat and caught up. A cute guy came in a little before we left but he was with a girl. Darn. There were also 2 birthday gatherings tonight there.
Bear Night - It was more crowded than usual there. The definitely seemed to be more people from around the area than usual, especially the Rochester guys. There was also this "OMFG he's damn cute" cub (mid-20s, a little shorter than me, dark hair, trim beard, decent build with just a touch of belly, furry front with a little in the back too, and the most gorgeous face - perfectly my type) there who came with a friend and it turns out is from out of state. At the behest of a friend (who I think didn't want to have to clean up if I started drooling), I finally got the guts to talk to him and he seemed like a nice guy. [Note: I really wish I could have more confidence to talk to people like this. As much as people say to "just get over it", constantly being shown that I'm not the type of the guys I meet that I'm into makes it hard to do so. It's like dropping a book over and over and hoping one time it will fall upwards. Eventually, you give up on the idea.] Tho I got to rub his chest and belly and back some, it was pretty clear he wasn't interested in me. In fact, he seemed into guys around his own age. *le sigh* I did get to see reevis5 who I never expected to see. I also got to grope a couple other cute guys but that's as far as that went. Had a good time hanging and chatting with my friend Sammy tho was there tho. Overall, I'd say it was a good time.
But now I need to head off to bed. I may be heading to see my mom tomorrow. Either way, I need to get my holiday cards done soon. At least this week will only be a 4 day week. I can really use the long weekends. Right now, I just need sleep.
