And it's only half over...

One day down. I played a little LotRO this morning and then laid down for a little rest before getting ready for LARP. (For those who don't know, LARP is Live Action Role Play. The LARP I'm in is based on Vampire the Masquerade.) Today was my first day back with my new character, a Brujah. My specific character is a mercenary. It was good to see everyone again and the night was decently eventful. It should be interesting to see how things go in upcoming months. I hada good time. A few of them were heading out to get soemthing to eat but I had promised friends I'd be out to bear night. After changing and driving down there, I got there at about 12:40 a.m. (LARP ends at midnight.) It seemed that some people had already been leaving and the pizza hasd been put out early and devoured so I missed that too. I got to hang out with some friends and danced some too. Overall, not too bad there either.

The one downer was this tho. I had seen one cute cub there. It was one of those things where whenever I'd see him, he'd be disappearing off somewhere and I'd never get to say hi. Well, when I was out on the dance floor, he was out there dancing shirtless (as was I) but he was with some older chubby daddy bear. So, hater when talking to some friends as most were leaving, he was nearby too with the older guy. I got to say hi to him there but not a whole lot else. The cub was putting on his shirt and the older guy had been looking at my shirt. It was my 2HRY2BA2NK (too hairy to be a twink) t-shirt. He starts to walk by and turns to me and says, "I know what I'm doing tonight. What about you?" I'm thinking maybe he's going to invite me somewhere with them. I say "Nothing so far." He then walks off to the other side of the cub who finishes getting ready and then head off. Look like he was being a braggart asshole instead. I hate schmucks like that. I was disappointed but try not to let it bother me. The daddy bear wasn't my type anyway. Would have been nice to play with the cub tho. Guess it's just another sign of the type of guys I meet in Buffalo.

Also, I got invited to a friend's graduation party Saturday. I realized on the way home that I had tentative plans that night with a local guy. The thing is that I have a feeling he'll blow off plans anyway. Trying to decide if I want to try to reschedule with the guy or just wait and see if he blows them off anyway. *shrug*

guys, larp, bear night
