He lived with me from summer 1989. Once he escaped near winter, but I found him sleeping in the living room in spring. Though he was a wild snake from the N.J. pine barrens, he only ever hurt the person who reached in the cage when a rat was there. It is NOT unfair to feed your snake live food (he would not eat it any other way) sometimes the rodent wins. Goodbye, Ochosi: I shall miss your silent serpentine presence.
he was such a nice snake! I regret that Jasmine would not leave him alone. I could not snuggle him as much as he deserved.
