Books, Board games and more!
The day started with me hearing Aaron's phone through our closed door way on the other side of the house. I bolted awake as soon as I saw the clock at 7:00 instead of the 6:00 that it was supposed to say.
I needed to be over at the Parent's house to take Misty to school at 6:45. Yep I was late. I totally blame aaron . He never gets to sleep on the right side of the bed ever again. (Side that has the alarm clock.)
I did get her to school after all my tardiness. Afterwards I drove around Portland-town trying to be inspired to take pictures. Could not. I was so sleepy. It had to be all the drama from yesterday and staying up late did not help. My brain was all foggy so I went home apparently missing Aaron by moments. I think the only downside to driving Misty to work all this week is I haven't been able to see him off to work. (Nerd Alert!)
Back at the house I crashed for an embarrassing amount of time. ;)
Because of the check we got we've been thinking of things we've been needing to get/replace and putting it on what we call the $8,000 list. Because we expect to be getting at least that much back in our tax return. He mentioned that I should get some new shoes (Joy!) since most of mine are not waterproof. I don't need any more prodding than that. We stopped in at Famous Footwear after dinner. It was just a preview. Nothing was bought but I could easily have walked out of there with at least two pairs. I do want to check out Payless before making a final decision.
Next was Powell's where I started seriously reading "City of Truth." (Chapter 4) I have to remember my place since we didn't actually buy a copy and I expect to go back and finish reading it there. I don't think I want a copy but its a good read so far.
As for the pictures they are purses made out of old hardback books and old boardgames. The cheapest is at least $40 and he said he could make it for much cheaper than that. I would love the Risk game purse just for the sake that it has Brazil right there front and center.
