Cannon Beach
Aaron had the day off because its Good Friday. Does that make sense to anyone? I've never had the day off for that but of course I've only ever had a job in Utah.
We took Juli to the airport and as a reward we get her car all weekend so of course we have to take such a hot car to the beach. (Scion TC) The parents decided not to go. Misty's leg was bothering her and John didn't want to go without her.
I shot this up through the open sunroof. Along the 26 they have this field where they do glider rides. Very cool.
They call this Haystack. These are the rocks on the Goonie movie.
I love how sunny it was at the beach. It was fine in Aloha then as we drive through the hills it rained then just as we got out to Cannon Beach it was all clear again. I have to be sure that you know it was NOT warm enough to get in the water. It was warm enough to take off our shoes and socks for the walk back from Haystack though.
I have never been so intrigued by sea foam.
As we walked we saw lots of joggers and bikers.
These reminded me of the Hunter Family Reunion in California when someone rented a couple of these and rode all around the RV park. It sounds like a great idea though. You invest in 4 or 5 big ones and a few little ones then you truck them around behind your RV. When you park throw out a sign renting the big ones for $10 an hour and the small ones for $5. You could make back your money in no time. Especially if you could tune them up or fix them yourself.
I think the scariest thing we saw was the backbone, neck and head of a bird. It took us a minute of staring to figure out thats what it was.

We did watch "Yes Man" and that was pretty funny. Watch out for the end though naked people. There are some butt shots and a cringing part with an old lady but if you all don't mind that go ahead and watch. Pretty funny.
