Does anyone else notice just how hostile wireless providers are to their customers?
For instance. I went over my plan minutes this month and I am being charged twice as much for half the plan minutes used. It's probably happened to us all. We go over our plan minutes and BANG you now have a bill that's three to five times what you normally pay.
Let's consider another industry that charges people huge amounts of money for over spending. Your bank.
If you over spend in your checking account two things happen.
1) If you have a savings account the bank will kindly transfer money from your savings account over to your checking account to cover the over draft.
2) The bank issues you an overdraft notice telling you what it did.
My bank even has an email alert that I can send myself if my checking account falls below a certain level.
Did you 'get' that? The stodgy, unhip bank understands customer service better than a wireless carrier.
You know, sending a customer an alert to stop spending, or slow down, or something to say "You've gone over!"
Oh wait, the wireless carrier wants us to go over so it can charge us obscene amounts of money for doing so.
All the money I saved for down-grading my plan over the last four months just vanished. Thanks T-Mobile. You guys really, really touch me--in the prison shower, don't pick up the soap kind've way.
rant,
