Pause, Rewind, Play
I've got a really long entry coming up soon. I started writing it tonight, but I've got a paper that I want to finish and so I'm going to continue writing it probably around Thursday night when I have the time. But I'm really pleased how my thoughts are getting easier to document and I'm going to try and post a lot more so I can kind of organize and sort it all out.
Also, I've created a Blogger.. I'm not sure why I did. I really don't know anyone on blogger and I haven't use it to blog since before high school. But I really like the features of blogger, and it's much prettier than lj :) After posting two consecutive posts about Mae, I've been kind of inspired to write a lot more about music, so this blog is going to be strictly about music and whatever I'm thinking about that relates to music at the time. The LJ is going to be a more personal, what did I do today kind of thing. So if you're interested, here's the link:

On a different note, I'm continuing my "yay, reading!" phase, and I'm really into my current book: "This is Your Brain on Music". If you're interested in the technical aspects of music that affects us cognitively, then you should definitely check it out. It's opening new doors to how I think about music and it's evolving into one of my favorites.
