For the second time this year, a guy decides I'm the clingy type and turns me down.
I'M NOT CLINGY.
Stupid men.
If anything, I'm overly cautious about emotional attachment. It's so insulting to be told that I give off an impression of clingyness.
The other thing is, people take the word "relationship" waaaay too seriously these days. What's wrong with being in a casual relationship? You can hang out sometimes and have sex too. No one is signing their soul away, and nothing has to happen. There are no real obligations other than showing each other a good time and maybe not to other people at the same time, depending on the agreement. You can break up any time. How much emotion you invest in the relationship is entirely up to you, no one is going to be taken up like a tube of toothpaste and have emotions squeezed out of them.
People who claim to be commitment-phobes are immature and take everything too seriously. Stop wearing black eyeliner and angsting. No one cares that you can't handle a simple little word.
