cached: (1) to use up. (2) to store up.

I believe sense 1 is spelled "cashed". Also, "cleave" -- to stick to; to cut apart!

I always spell sense 1 "cached" in my mind because it is awesomer that way, but an argument about this was settled in favor of "cashed" by an intoxicated UrbanDictionary venture :(.

Somehow, I was *way* more conscious of Guy Fawkes day today -- there were two articles about it in the NYT (one about the decline of bonfires due to safety concerns in England, the other about how Ron Paul used it as a fundraising opportunity), and also Steven talked a lot about it over the weekend.

This entire post cracked me up. My one nit to pick is that the Chinese have really sucky pastries.

I remembered remembered it! But only because I was reading the Guardian, and even then, I was puzzled for a while when they kept mentioning it until I thought really hard.
