(no subject)
Had a somewhat productive day so far, I was forceably awoken by pink_charlie and groggily made it into town to see a nice lady about my housing benefit that I have now been trying to sort out for 15 months! My case has now been referred to the manager and is being treated as an urgent official complaint.
one/nil to me.
I then proceeded to cross the road to phoenix house to sort out my council tax, because my housing benefit has been screwed up I have to pay council tax, despite all of my attempts to communicate with the council they decided to send 'the boys' round instead of informing me as to what was actually happening or communicating with and other departments.
It was interesting that as soon as they guy behind the counter realised who I was and that he used to work opposite the Wee Laydee and still works with Sean who I used to live with his reaction changed from fairly apathetic to very helpful and talkative, asking how Sarah was now and asking if I still saw Sean.
So that was wonderful and he kindly put my account on hold for longer than he should have.
Two/Nil
He then proceeded to tell me that upon looking at my account that in fact Sean, Sarah and I had overpaid our council tax at Western Road and were due £70odd rebate. It's interesting that no one has ever informed us of this before. hmmmm.
Three/Nil and only half time.
I then made my way towards home and for no apparent reason (probably because it was raining and I wanted tea)decided to see if purplelucy was home, she wasn't so I could't congratulate her on the pretty pictures she posted.

I managed to trudge home and drank copious amounts of tea and ate a strawberry scone. As I was relaxing I had the fortune to receive a call from alex_manion who informed me that he would be at mine shortly so that I could mutilate his head. He was, so I did :
He seems to be somewhat camera shy!
We drank some tea and then he ran away too see some crazy person.
Four/One
I am now sitting drinking yet more tea with pink_charlie and chatting with f1ipt0p about his crazy house situation. I plan to eat some pasta and drink some more tea whilst watching the second series of Black books that has just finished downloading.
All in all not a bad day, let's hope this is not just an anomalous day and that my life is in fact improving.
