ouch ouch ouch

i'm scared and embarrassed about friday morning... but i must get past it for presentations over the weekend, meetings, projects, finals from the 3rd to the 10th, and of curse graduation ceremonies the 11th and 12th. so excited to be done! yeah baby, double degree and a minor in three years (not to mention all three fields are quite rigorous). for more info go to http://engineering.colorado.edu/EventCalendar/Calendar.aspx. guess what, it looks like i will actually pass all 8 of my classes this semester, even though two of them might be just barely! (A/B student no more).

paint it black
that's my mood for a while now. feeling broken and alone sucks. the snow the other day made me forget all that though, and i do rather enjoy the breaking and pain, not to mention these things prove i really do enjoy my life. any of you remember me in HS after than damn car... well I'm way better this time around even though injuries of the past are back in full force. if you pray or light candles or occasionally think about people, i would enjoy it (risky, asking people things. its not like me is it?). here is another risk I will take: I'm freaked out about my surgery on friday.

banana
I was just handed a 70 page notbook that contains no less than 15% banana fibers (100% post consumer collected) in its 20 pound classically rules pages. grown in costa rica, with a heavy chipboard backing. The front has a plastic cover to protect from drink spills, and the writing has a dolphon next to it. "Banana paper (TM) saving the rain forest one notbook at a time". its kinda a cool idea i suppose, to get people interested in recycling more. For some reason I doubt this company is doing this to save trees, and i doubt they are saving very many of them. still kinda neat though (cost to much for me to ever buy though).
