Still in New Orleans. Last day. It's been fun. But Oh My God the whiney people I've had to put up with on this trip! One person in particular has been irking me this entire trip by complaining about everything. Apparently she comes from money, of some kind, so she had nothing but complaints about the hostel and everything else. I mean, it's a freakin hostel - it is not supposed to be the lap of luxury!
She's also been looking over mine and the other board member's shoulder the entire time, talking like she could plan this trip better. Then, this morning, which was admittedly disorganized (one van took off this morning, thankfully the one she is on) she said we were the worst trip coordinators ever and stormed off.
Good freakin riddance.
She is exactly the type of person we DO NOT want on trips like this. Complaining about everything, cliquing up the group, the whole works. Unfortunately, she is in clinic with me, so there will be no getting away from her.
But she is gone. And I have one day left. Unfortunately, I am sick. But I don't care. I am going to go out and see this city if it kills me. Which it might. But I'm going to do it anyway.
