(no subject)
I have been meaning to update for a while now. Each time I think of it, I find something else to do. Sad, I know. I'm just easily distracted these days. More so than usual. Dunno why, either.
I've been writing off and on, here and there for a while now. I just don't seem to have the motivation to sit and type as much as I used to. Well, that is until I want to. But seriously, I need something to make me apply myself so that at least I feel as though I'm accomplishing something. I have two different fics running in my head right now. One is yet another Laby/Jpop cross and the other is one that Bobbi wanted to see written. Don't have a clue where either of them are going, but that's half the fun of writing, right?
Finally got around to watching the first episode of this season's Dexter. I was trying to hold off until I knew the season was over just so that I could watch them all at once and not have to wait for the following week. Doesn't look like that's going to happen. I'll be back at it in just a bit because I can't not watch the second one now that I've seen the first! I had wondered how they were going to follow up last season and now I know.
Work has been the same. I'm just getting fed up with everyone and everything that concerns it. I really don't care much to see the people I work with because I'm tired of the 'odd' one that they think it's alright to poke fun at. If I had another option, I'd definitely consider it. But the way the job market is, I'm not going to do something rash. I did tell Bobbi that she could go work and I'd be her live in nanny. lol At least she knows the kids would be taken care of by someone who only wants the best for them. Plus, I'd get to see them all the time instead of once a week.
I still need to figure out my insurance so that I don't get shafted. They didn't give us eye insurance last year that that ticked me off. No, I don't have bad eyes, but you want to cover everything just in case.
Let's see. . . what else is there? The UGL Archive is back up. I just have a few fics to format and put up that are newer since geocities. I'd almost like to change the header simply because as the members of the ugl grew older, all their interests and priorities have changed. But since I'm graphically challenged, I'll just leave it the way it is for now. lol
What else? Oh! I drove down to Bobbi's yesterday so that I could go to Jennie's dance class. It is always on Wednesdays, so since I had it off I thought why not? It was super cute. She was in the class and people and actually look in through the windows to watch how thier kids are doing. She kept looking at me and giving me this big goofy smile every few minutes. It was almost as though she was checking to see if I was still watching or not. Of course I'd watch. She was so good! It's quite apparent that she loves ballet. Makes me think back to when Shelly was in ballet but the studio she was in didn't let us watch their progress. I hope she continues to experience everything she loves.
The Nino rumor just makes me smirk. Makes me want to write fic based on the assumptions but I'm not gonna.
The nephews are behind me tormenting Kai with a tennis ball. They're rolling it back and forth to make him chase it. Kai's quite the little hunter. Living in an old farm house like this, when the weather changes little varmits like to see if they can sneak into the house. He caught a varmit and left it in the doorway to the kitchen so I could see it. So, I had to make over him and tell him what a good kitty he was. Kai's super proud of what he did, and I'm glad because I need a good mouser since Tigger is so old that he doesn't do much more than sleep and eat.
I have the nephews lingering around so I've got major distractions going on right now. Maybe I'll update late, but then again, who really knows what I'll be doing? lol
