L'Arc~en~Ciel Surprise Release

Jul 18, 2014 04:48

So basically L'Arc~en~Ciel fans got a good news yesterday. The guys are back! Not from hiatus, but from expensive release strike.

Oiishi Masahiro pimped the news on his Twitter yesterday.

Tetsuya and his marketing management is to be praised of. Yes, he knows the fans' thirst of their releases. Knowing full well that their fans would just obediently buy anything they put on shelf, they release four types of Kokuritsu Kogijou live. Two DVDs and two BDs. The limited edition (who won't get tempted by the sacred word "limited"?) offers two blue spec CDs consist of the audio version of the live.

Price? Well, consider it early Christmas present. They label the releases starting from 7.600 yen. Of course, that'd be the regular edition DVD.

The DVDs and BDs will be available officially on 21 November this year. But you all know some stores ship them earlier than the ddesignated release date.

I'm not sure if I'd buy this or not. The limited edition DVD would cost me around 17.000 yen, shipping included before tax. And that's no shit.

I'll get my bonus on October and December but I gotta save for the other surprises. Rumor has it that L'Arc would come back with some tours planned. It hasn't been confirmed yet but we have to be cautious in case there's sudden announcement.
