Emotionally Unstable: Blame BREAKERZ for This

Dec 20, 2010 18:08

Today I practically have nothing to do at work.
Just like previous Mondays, I start this week with less work to do. I only have three ads for tomorrow's publication to handle and two for the day after tomorrow. And I've finished all of them.

Since I have quite a lot of free time to waste, I decided to update this journal and read f-list's entries XD

Last Saturday I finally got my BREAKERZ DVDs. Since I was quite busy that day, I didn't have time to watch them. So last night, after work, I watched one of them, BREAKERZ LIVE 2009 "WISH" in Nippon Budokan.

And.
I.
Was.
Stunned.

This band really rocks let's put Daigo's squeaky vocal aside, musical wise.

Their songs are just too earcatchy and easily stole my heart.
Now I can't get off their songs of my head XDDD

One more thing.
AKIHIDE IS SOOOO HOT!!!!!

I screamed like... hundred times during 2 hours 46 minutes of performance. This man, despite of his fragile look, is so energetic. He played guitar so wild and sexy. It seems like he was having sex with his dark brown guitar
XDDDD

Shinpei is such a dork. He jumped and moved around like he has loads of energy.

Daigo?
Uhm, well. He's such an attention whore as usual. Playing out with the audience so much. This skinny man knows well how to entertain people. I enjoy his movement so much and not his voice with an obvious reason. He teased Akihide whom he addresses Aki-san a lot XD

Poor Aki-chama~
*hugs Akihide for comfort*

He got kissed twice. And one of them is an intense kiss XDD
I feel like beating Daigo for stealing kisses from Akihide*

There are few things I realized after watching this DVD.
Compared to L'Arc, BREAKERZ' live is more intimate. I can feel how much this band is loved by their fans. And I can feel this band's respect towards their fans. It's like there's no border between them and the audience because they didn't put long distance security fence from the stage.

Daigo put audience under his control.
When Daigo sang, they sang along. Glorious.
When Daigo ordered them to dance, they danced. Cute.
When Daigo talked, they cheered him up. It's killing me.

Why can't L'Arc boys do the same?
Eventhough I DO enjoy every L'Arc's live, I never feel this way.
I'm starting to get sick of, "Ore no banana tabetai no?" MC.
The bridge during Link in which Ciel-chan introduces L'Arc members is getting old for me too.

I know this shouldn't be happening.
The boys are coming back soon.
Real soon.
But I feel like my eternal love for them is fading away and I don't quite understand why.
I don't feel like going to Japan for 20th L'Anniversary anymore.

Is it because I'm aging?

Another update from real life: my grandfather just passed away last Saturday. I got the news at 3.15 AM.

We're not directly blood-related because he's my grandmother's brother. But he's the only grandfather I've ever known. My dad's father passed away even before dad got married. And mom's father passed away when I was 5.

Mom cried after the funeral. She's my grandfather's favorite niece. My grandfather even gave her nickname. He was such a dork, even when he was sick. When we visited him, he always talked about his glorious younger days. Then we laughed a lot because of his silly jokes.
Now I won't be able to listen to his amusing stories anymore.

Farewell, Yang Mat.
I hope you get the best place on God's side.
We will miss you.
