Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru Will Air Next Season
I’ve never played game but Windows games but I’m quite into Touken Ranbu. No, don’t get me wrong. It’s not the game itself that I’m fond of. It’s the nendoroids XD
So I’m excited to know that the guys will have their own anime series. Slated for this fall season, Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru will air on Tokyo MX, Kansai TV, and BS 11. DMM.com and the dAnime Store will stream it.
The story is set in 2205. At the time the future doesn’t seem favorable that it encourages the historical revisionists to begin attacks on the past to change the history. The Saniwa who can imbue life into objects are assigned to protect the history. The strongest among these are Touken Danshi. Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru will center around their daily life.
Doga Kobo is handling the animation production under the direction of Naoya Takashi. Sugiura Pierre writes the scripts. The cute character design is done by Taniguchi Junichiro. Kawai Kenji composes the music.
