Godzilla franchise will have a new anime film in 2017. TOHO as the license holder of the franchise has opened official site for the film.
No further information regarding the new project. The official site only lists comments from three people involved in the production: Director Shizuno Kobun (Meitantei Conan: Junkoku no Nightmare), Director Seshita Hiroyuki (Ajin) and Urobuchi Gen who's responsible for the story concept and screenplay. Polygon Pictures is working on the animation.
