The long awaited live-action film adaptation of Ohba Tsugumi and Obata Takeshi's Bakuman. manga opened last week. In its opening weekend, the movie which opened on 325 screens across Japan on Saturday (October 4) sold 184,263 tickets and earned 251,607,900 yen. Bakuman. topped the box office last weekend.

Heroine Shikkaku fell from its position as the king of office to number two. In its third weekend, the movie earned 178,309,700 yen from 267 screens in Japan. The previous runner-up, Shingeki no Kyojin End of the World fell to number three after three weeks.

Even the kyojin can't win againts the mangaka duo, Moritaka Mashiro (played by Satou Takeru) and Takagi Akito (Kamiki Ryunosuke) XD

Bakuman. tells the story about two boys who aim to be the greatest mangaka that Japan has ever seen. While having their own goals, Mashiro and Akito work together to be successful mangaka.

To be honest, I haven't read the manga nor watched the anime. I've written some news about Bakuman. though LOL

Well, I might check this series later. IF I manage to finish the first volume of Karneval and Ao no Exorcist that I bought last week. It took me three days to finally finish reading the first volume of Donten ni Warau and Border while it usually takes less than an hour. And I still have One Piece 74 to read OTL
