Wings Flap: This Song is One of Many Reasons Why I Can't Stop Loving L'Arc~en~Ciel
Wings Flap CD single won't be coming out until December. But the full song has been floating in various streaming sites. I happened to find one of them.
Before started listening to the song, I read so many comments saying that L'Arc~en~Ciel is returning to their old selves. I immediately agree as the intro started...
This is definitely why I can't stop loving L'Arc~en~Ciel. For the past few years, I started to grow tired of their mainstream music. They have transformed into major label's puppet which can no longer preserve their idealism in music. I'm not even (too) excited with their live concert(s).
But Wings Flap brings me back to them. I feel like listening L'Arc~en~Ciel's earlier singles from their 1990's era albums when I listened to Wings Flap. The boys are coming back to their musical sense!
Three months. Fans have to wait for three months before the physical disk comes out. I'm looking forward to it. Wings Flap sounds great. We don't need heavy touch up on Hyde's vocal. We need no synth. Just let him sing to his heart content.
