Suzuki Tatsuhisa Joins Toshokan Sensou -The Last Mission- Cast
It seems like having a nicely progressing career as popular seiyuu (voice actor), singer, and model isn't enough for Suzuki Tatsuhisa. He challenges himself to act in a live-action movie adapted from anime he participated in as a seiyuu, Toshokan Sensou.
His appearance in the second movie, Toshokan Sensou -The Last Mission-, has been confirmed by the movie staff on Monday (August 10). Tatsuhisa who played the main character Tezuka Hikaru in the anime version gets a minor role in The Last Mission. He'll appear alongside Fukushi Shouta who plays Tezuka Hikaru in the live-action movies and Kuriyama Chiaki (as Shibasaki Asako).

Tatsuhisa has expressed his excitement regarding his participation in The Last Mission.
"When the talk about this came up, I burst out laughing. I was so surprised that I could hardly believe this would happen," Tatsuhisa said.
He also mentioned that he has interest in other field (acting). "That's why I challenge myself by accepting this offer," he said.
Being able to partake in The Last Mission makes him very happy. "I who was just an audience can stand in this place now , I feel truly happy," he said.
He also felt a bit discomposed during the filming. "As someone who played Tezuka Hikaru, being unable to raise my voice to Shibasaki as usual makes my heart flustered," he laughed.
In his latest diary entry posted on August 10th at 12.50 pm, Tatsuhisa also mentioned about Toshokan Sensou.
"Anyway, I'll be out to film Toshokan Sensou soon. It'll be released on October 10. Double Tezuka. Can't help with this kind of picture right? I'll write about it in details if I'm in the mood."
Toshokan Sensou -The Last Mission- takes place one and half years after the story of the first movie. The story centers on Doujou Atsushi (played by Okada Junichi), an elite soldier with brawn and stoic judgment in the task force of the Kantou Library Defense Force, and Kasahara Iku (played by Eikura Nana), the task force's only female member. They fight to oppose censorship to protect the freedom of press and expression which is strictly controlled by Media Improvement Committee.
Cast members of the first movie reprise their roles. Tanaka Kei will play Komaki Mikihisa, Ishizaka Koji (Nishina Gen), Nishida Naomi (Origuchi Maki), and Hashimoto Jun (Genda Ryuusuke). Director Sato Shinsuke also returns for the sequel. The filming has began in mid-December.
Before The Last Mission opens in Japanese theaters on October 10, a special episode, Book of Memories, will air in TBS this fall. Book of Memories will portray the daily lives of the force members.
