Haikyuu!! Gets 2 Movies + Stage Play
This fall Hinata Shouyou and his ex-rival Kageyama Tobio are returning for the second season Haikyuu!! anime.
WE'RE BACK!: Karasuno High volleyball team will return this fall.
But before that, two compilation movies have been planned. The first one, Gekijouban Haikyuu!! Owari to Hajimari (Haikyuu!! The Movie: The Ending and The Beginning) will open on July 3, followed by Gekijouban Haikyuu!! Shousha to Haisha (Haikyuu!! The Movie: Winners and Losers) on September 18. A visual from the movies is unveiled in 17th issue of Weekly Shounen Jump.
Haikyuu!! fans wouldn't want to miss Haikyuu!! Matsuri (Haikyuu!! Festival) that takes place in Pacifico Yokohama on August 30.
A stage play adaptation has also been green-lit for mid-November. The hyper projection performance will run at AiiA 2.5 Theater Tokyo. It then moves to Osaka's Theater Brava! in late November. The final stage would be Tagajou Shimin Kaikan's Great Hall at Miyagi's Tagajou City Cultural Center in early December. Nakayashiki Norihito is writing the script of the stage play directed by Kinoshita Worry.
The first season was amusing, so I'm looking forward to the second. I hope Nico Touches The Wall still works on the opening song =)
