Again. I broke my vow. I said that I was going to update regularly, but see what I do. No update at all in a week. It’s not that I have no story to share. I have, in fact, a lot. But I really had no mood to type anything. Not even in
L’Arcology. I only posted twice or three in a day. Pardon your lame co-admin, Mu-chan… m(_ _)m
Enough with private rant. Just need to write what had happened last week. Last Saturday (4/7), I went to Pandaan. An ex-colleague got married. It’d be rude if I didn’t come so I took a day off and went to his house. I got the repetitive question, again, "When will you get married?". Oh yeah, same old question which I’m just too lazy to answer.
Those people sometimes contacted me just to ask that question. It’s not that I dislike to be asked. It means they care about me, that’s a good point. But, I’d prefer not to hear such question.
Oh, and most of them asked, "Where’s your boyfriend? Why don’t you invite him along?".
Helloooo, peopleeeee!!! =_____=
Eventhough we’re in relationship, it doesn’t mean he has to follow me around and stick with me 24/7. We have our own lives. We have our own businesses. And it’s not my habit to show off my lover. He isn’t a walking mannequin!
I don’t know why they really want me to get married. I mean, even IF I get married, there’s no profit they gain. And if I DON’T get married, they have nothing to loose. So, why people? Why?
As I said to my friends, I’m pretty much sure that I’m a good mother. Well, that’s already proven *cough*
But a good wife? Hmmm… that’s in question.
Another big news I’ve heard last week was my brother in law got leukemia. My mom and dad was very surprised when my sister texted my mom about it. She and her husband had just gone to a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) clinic. The doctor said he had leukemia and needed to be treated ASAP.
The doctor made my brother in law bought Rp 400K medicines. There are some pills and tablets.
I was surprised too upon hearing the news. But my brain kept telling me something was hell wrong. I’ve read stories about people living with leukemia so I kinda recognize the symptoms. My brother in law had none of them! How come that doctor said so?
I insisted my mom to make my brother in law go seeing our doctor. This noon, he, my sister, and my parents went to see my doctor whom an old acquaintance of my dad. The doctor said LOLed hard and said there was nothing to worry about because my brother is as health as wild buffalo. It’s just he needs to run a diet to maintain his stomach.
My dad told me later that the TCM doctor said some nonsense things to my brother in law in his last visit. "You must not run blood-test. Chicken and beef are forbidden to eat,
" he said.
WHAT?
YOU MUST NOT RUN BLOOD-TEST?
Doctor, are you insane? Blood-test MUST BE conducted to conclude that someone has leukemia, right? How could you justify someone has leukemia if all you do was just moving your hands above someone’s body, not even touching it? Are you a psychic or something?
Anyway, I’m glad that things are cleared now. There’s no serious matter with my brother’s health but to secure the conclusion, my doctor asked my brother to run blood-test. Hopefully everything’s fine.
My sister will give birth in four months. So I hope her husband will get well soon.
Tonight, I'll spend my time watching Mr Brain 6, Detroit Metal City, and Pandora Hearts 12-14. Oh, and I'll take a look at several new titles such as Maid Deka (the plotline seems interesting) and Basquash!.
