Supermoon brought the bloodsuckers out in toronto!
Holyfucking hyde in my face blonde hyde the number of times he grabbed my hands and fucking midnight celebration he lay down with his face right in front of my hands i basically had no choice but to rest on his shoulder/hair
Which was soooooo old skool 666 era blonde omg dream come true to see that in person and all his smirks and grins and god it was so loud we got so crazy shouting during bloodsuckers but omg the encore was wild, but seriously the moment they were about to come on the crowd started crowding so crazily, but it was funny cause they didn't do a mic check before vamps came on so he started w/ no mic & his roadie had to come out &tell him to restart...he gave the cutest i'm sorry face ....a good preamble to the rest of the night that was all smirks and tongues XD
Ok now it's tomorrow...there's still so much going on in my brain i haven't had enough sleep for this.
But to start.... got there 930, cause i got a nosebleed as i was getting ready to go, appropriate right? ^^; was already a couple doz ppl in front of me...groupies from japan who have been doing the whole tour or most of it, they all flew in from nyc the morning of
A few ppl came right after but then the line didn't get much longer till evening as ppl got off work
Got talking to the girl right in front of me, she was really sweet, and gave me a copy of the new single! (Which i totally missed my final chance to get signed...details at the end)
But that was super sweet... She had several copies because she was trying for a lottery that came with it so she was giving them to fans in all the cities on this mini tour
It was fun to talk a lot in japanese all day, though sometimes i couldn't follow the conversations, so obviously need more listening practice!
Overall though was a quiter lineup wait than i expected, since leia/linda couldn't make it till evening
Tour bus came around 330....my vdo is pretty crud because i was trying to hold out the cd to be signed too, but got hyde smiling at us a little!
What else...we had a pigeon accident....it fell from the top of the building...apparently there's a virus they catch where their balance/etc gets messed up&they can't fly...luckily a girl in line knew a wildlife sanctuary to call
Nothing much else exciting...since we were across from new gen's 2nd location i got to have unagi sushi pizza for lupper!
One thing that happened that worked out for lining up, is a girl near the front started a list of names for those of us who came early, then around 630 we all reorganised ourselves based on that order...it was good cause the venue didn't put up more than one short stancheon early evening...had put down leia/linda in the list, so they were able to get seats side front no issue, and my other frd ended up coming in too since she was chatting w/me
So after waiting a bit past doors scheduled, finally we were let in! And i snagged myself a spot right in front of hyde!
There was a row in front already but when vamps started we were so smooshed it didn't matter!
What i hadn't realised tho is that there were 2 openers
...both good tho! 1st had a female vocalist, grp name was next side i think?...unfortunately the reverb was really strong, but if the sound was cleaned up it would've been really fun. 2nd was more polished (citizen zero-were touring w/ vamps), they had fun getting us revved up for vamps, tho not like we needed it XD But w/ 2 other acts it meant vamps didn't go on till 1030 or so. Had to not really look up& also covered my ears to try to save my neck/hearing for the main event ...but omg was it ever worth the wait! And then the 2nd wait? XD;
For some reason they didn't do a mic check before vamps, so they had their grand entrance, and hyde of course had his in ear monitors, so he didn't realise no sound was happening (it's pretty crazy tho that even us who were like 3' from his face couldn't hear him!) One of his roadies had to come out & tap him on the shoulder, and when they explained he made the cutest shrug/apologetic face
So after a couple mins, redo, and this time was fine...and of course the crowd got even crazier after having a taste lol
Rest of the night was just crazy, loud, high energy...i couldn't tell you in the least what the setlist was, esp since i don't know newer songs very well at all oops ^^; (i blame ebi) and there's were a few that i didn't realise what it was till partway through (i need to listen to rock english version of evergreen more lol)
...although really half the time i was just too distracted by hyde XD thinking of it now a couple days after, you can really see how much fun he has playing tiny venues... so many times he'd look straight at us making cute or sexy faces, or swatting at/grabbing our hands...
most memorable part for me though is definitely midnight celebration...imagine you're litterally 2 feet from his stand, and he slowly lies down and...well, i'd describe it but really, why try when i can just show my vdo? ←because hell yes we could record this time! (which thinking of... i'll have to check the datestamp but i think he sang that just about midnight XD)
Seriously i will not forget that scene as long as i live. I mean that's basically a taste of what waking up beside the man is like XDDD ❤❤❤ ー>

One thing i found funny is how quiet it was before the encore...like those of us at the front chanted (we got a good round of "bang! On! Stomp everybody!" going, but even that died, i think we were all just so wiped from the high energy show....but then the music for revolution started up and the energy went straight back up till the end!
Other good moment was when they had a 2nd mc, and hyde was like 'it's cold outside but it's so hot in here!' with some 暑い and すごい thrown in XD
Another especially cute moment was at the end, hyde was blowing kisses...stopped, blew some more, then looked over audience right and did a cute 'rawr'/biting action XD
Also i very much noticed his belly button peircing...but that he didn't have the nipple piecings in anymore...also did have his really cool dragon(?) earring in his right ear, and of course the red ring (which i can i can now say i've touched!)
And almost got kaz's guitar pick....he tossed it right beside me, so that the girl on my left fell when the crowd went for it so i stopped her falling more and saw it by someone's feet, but figured it wasn't worth going for ^^;
After the show i bought the tour shirt afterall (since it had the tour dates on the back)...they weren't selling any other merch this time tho :(
then we all went outside...while chatting (and saying hi to my other friend mian who i ran into then) heard squeals from by the bus, and there's a dark car driving away w/ hyde/kaz in it....so me/leia/linda left for some food, since they also offered me a ride....and lo&behold, i see vamps post a vdo tues mrning of them sneaking back soon after wearing the hats/jerseys some fans had got them! JERKS XDDD.
i shoulda known since it was weird they left by car w/ the tour bus still there!!

Oh yeah, and speaking of gifts, someone as usual brought a canadian flag ppl could sign, which hyde came out wearing for the encore :D
The street team also had printed a poster of a really good fanart part of their crew had drawn, so there was that to sign too ^^
Anyway, after the show sarah had to leave pretty quick, so the three of us going for food went to a diner on dundas linda knew of, and i had a yummeh apple pie & a peach soda before being driven home ...really, prob good i assumed they'd left and didn't stay longer, had to be up @ 730 for work and i didn't make it into bed till 345 :S
Was soooo dead tues i slept 10 1/2hrs tues night only cause i forced myself to stay up till 9 :S ^^;;;;;;;;
But ahhhhhhh sooooo worth it! For there being only 1 concert i could make it to this year, i am forever grateful this was the one. 13 year dream to see hyde in my city and nearly as long term a dream to see BLONDE!!!hyde live, and i got all that right up close in a tiny venue at a show where he was going all out❤❤❤❤❤ i couldn't hope for better!
2 days later my lower back and side muscles are still so stiff and sore from craning up and the arm reaching so must've been a good show! XDDDD no barrier bruises thankfully lol. Also considering how much/loudly i was screaming and how freaking loud the show was, i'm impressed i didn't lose my voice or hearing much at all lol
