going from a 55$/mo. unlimited 5mbps internet service, to my isp being forced by a government agency that caved into 2 monopolising fucktard companies into charging me 100$/mo. for max 300gb
getting an unlimited data plan added to my phone is only 30$/mo. 30!
DISGUSTING.
i really like my isp (they're big supporters of the stopthemeter campaign), but unless the crtc's decision gets overturned, i'll probably have to cancel, and just buy a smartphone instead, because even with the cost of the phone added in it'd be cheaper
...doesn't help i already found out today i'll probably have to shell out some dough for a new 1.5tb drive, cause my current one is messed up and failing (colin warned me to not use it till i do, so no access to anything except my music pre-2009)
