Schoolwork Suggestions

my big makeup project involves reading a novel or play (no movies allowed) and designing the makeup for it as if i would be applying it on myself.

so my question is: any good suggestions? we have to use at least 2 diff. techniques, so i'd love recs of any plays/(shorter) books that have visually interesting characters (like, not just mid-20s, ( Read more... )

What kind of makeup are we talking? You could always go for Tithe, by Holly Black. The main character turns out to be... well. Green, basically. XD

stage makeup...so anything that could be fun :D ...that book sounds interesting, i like urban fairytales ^^

It's a two-book series with a 3rd book that's sort of a tie-in. Related, but focused on different characters doing different things. Would provide lots of cool makeup ideas, I'd think. ;D

The Ender series (Orson Scott Card) has pig-like aliens in it...

And there's a bunch of folks in Marat/Sade that could be good.
