Do you ever have one of those days when everything seems to just sort of go the right way? They don't happen very often for me because of many factors but today was one of them. It was just weird how everything that I had to do today got done so efficently & without a lot of fuss. First off I took my mom's car to the car wash & while it was getting washed I went to the grocery store & when I brought the groceries back to the car wash the car was out front being dried off. I loaded the stuff into the back & walked the shopping cart back to the parking lot of the grocery store & when I got back (again) the car was dried off & ready to go. Smooth operation #1.
After I got home I took off for town to run some more errands and I stopped off at my grandpa's storage locker that I'm in the process of clearing out. Pulled into the lot & cleared off 3 shelves full of files into the back of the Jeep & took off. Stopped at the gas station in town to get a 44 oz. & walked away w/ a free one. Smooth operation #2.
I took the files in the back of the Jeep to the office building that my grandpa & dad used to practice out of. I pulled up to the garbage can & began tossing files in. I was in and out in 2 minutes. Smooth operation #3.
I stopped off at the bank to cash a Dell rebate check & there was only one other car in front of me. I cashed the check & was off to deposit it in my other account. Smooth operation #4.
I came home & prepared dinner for myself. I perfectly timed when my corn on the cob would be done with the exact time that my steak was to come off of the grill. Excellent food & smooth operation #5.
I'm thinking of heading back into town to get rid of some more files & get another 44 oz. & then watch 'Blow Out' & 'Queer Eye' tonight. Just happened to be one of those great days. I think I may go up to the lake tomorrow & try & put a dent in Harry Potter #5. My plan is to finish it in a week and then finish the new #6 next week before my sister comes home & has a chance to read it. That's all for now.
