(no subject)
Well Friday night, Gus and I picked Amelia up from the airport. The AirTrain is so nice. It's totally worth the $5 because its fast, cute, and replaces the slow, stinky bus that you would have to take otherwise. We got back to my place, and discovered that there is no restaurant that delivers past midnight. That was sad. So we cooked.
Saturday morning we went to St. Mark's and showed Amelia around, she wanted to buy a prom dress, so we took her to some stores along 8th and around there.
Saturday night was fun. Thanks to everyone that came.
On Sunday, Jeremy from Pennsylvania called and said he was going to be coming into the city too, so we got him from Port Authority, and we hung out in the city. At about 10PM we went to James and Matt's and hung out there. It was great. Matt stole medical equipment from his lab and we drank shots of rum from syringes. Then Amelia, Jeremy and I went to Club Coral Room. It was so beautiful. There were fishtanks in the walls, and there was one giant one in front of the bar, and they had a naked merman swimming in it. HOT.
At like 3:30, the guy who we thought was the photographer comes up to us and is like "I'm really drunk, can any of you drive my car home?". Well, we weren't particularly sober ourselves, and for some FUCKED UP reason, we actually agreed to do it. So we all got in his car, and it turned out he was the owner of the club. He was actually really hot too. This happens to be the club that GLSEN NYC is doing its benefit at in two weeks. He is apparantly friends with people at GLSEN, so that made us feel more comfortable. Anyway, so it wasn't a big deal. He gave us cab money, and free admission cards for the club. I know it was a stupid thing to do, but whatever, it's done.
This morning, we woke up and Jeremy had a 1PM bus, so we hurried into the city, and we ended up deciding to change his ticket to an 8PM bus so he could stay longer. We hung out in Times Square, then went to GLSEN to the meeting. After that, I took Jeremy to Port Authority and Amelia to JFK and they left.
And its only Monday..
