Today was a LOOOONG DAY
So today started off with me having a meeting with my advisor pertaining to a course that he's going to be teaching online that I am going to be assisting him with. I worked on it for about two hours and finally got the course mostly up and running and then he took me out to a really nice lunch. After that, I came back home and ran through two of my guitar solos that I would be playing later on that evening.
Then, it was off to Waldenburg to set up my gear for my band's first full show since the singer and I joined. I had some friends from Newport who agreed to come check out the show so I drove to pick them up after that. I got lost a few times and then after I got them they got me lost a few times. Eventually we made it there and we did the show and the performance, to me, was mediocre at best. There were a good amount of mistakes and it just wasn't very "tight" but I think we SOUNDED better than we did the previous time we played.
After the show, I drove my friends back to Newport where we grabbed some late night Taco Bell and chilled for a while at one of their houses. My friend Andrew introduced me to an anime that I'd not paid attention to previously but that I wish to acquire. So after all that, I had a LOOOONG drive back home. My day was fun and interesting but I am extremely exhausted even as I write this entry sooooo I'm off to never-never land.
