I'm in a F*cking Band!!!
So yeah...I kinda sorta joined a band tonight. Some guys contacted me through a posting I made at my local guitar store and said that I could come jam with them sometime. Tonight we actually got together and it was an experience to remember. The whole band wasn't there tonight but there was the other guitarist, the drummer, and one of the singers. Just because I can run up and down a few scales, they appointed me as the lead guitarist more or less and we started going over some of their songs and we messed around with a riff that I came up with a while ago. I don't know if I'm officially part of the band but they want me to atleast stay until we play a live gig and then see if I want to stay. This is a totally f*cking awesome experience and I'm gonna have a hell of a lot of fun.

Carl, if you are reading this then I must apologize to you. I won't be able to give you that guitar for a little while because it's the only guitar I have that I can tune down to the tuning this band plays in. I do plan to replace this guitar with an Ibanez RG321 as soon as I can afford it so you will be able to have the guitar eventually. It sounded pretty f*cking awesome tonight so I don't think you'll be disappointed with it when you get it.
