(no subject)
So, I spent the last several hours working on the costume. It's almost finished. I just have to work on the tunic tomorrow (and probably the next day), then the green arm thingy that Link wears, and I'm set. Both of those should not take too long to do.
Anyways. Yeah. My fingers hurt a lot from all of that sewing. And yes, I had to do it all by hand because my aunt "broke" her sewing machine. Which is crack addict for "I don't want to let you borrow it." Wonderful. Oh well, it just won't look as pretty up close. And it'll look more authentic, I suppose.
Things have been really crazy lately. Running to and fro, hanging out with him and her, attending such and such event, GMing and playing in roleplaying games. A lot of stuff. Sooo much. And I thought that summer quarter was going to bog me down and not allow me to do anything.
Driving mom around is dumb. I have to wake up every morning at six or something. I don't even know, I just know it begins with a six and I get angry when I see it. At least I'm getting some gas money out of it, I guess. Allows me to drive around more. And gas is still four dollars a gallon. I'm pretty pissed about that.
Renaissance Faire this weekend, obviously. Costume will be worn and applause will be had. Or I'll be laughed at, one of the two.
