Long story, so I'll spare you the details...and the story too! So I have another long story, which is much more interesting...to me anyway.
I got a new computer. It's cool I have 2 monitors so I can drag my mouse from one screen to the other, but that's not the story, just some excitement in my life...yes, porn looks better on multiple screens.
UCF hassle of the week-
Problem: Graduated May 9th, Diploma has not yet been received.
Mission: Find out where my diploma is.
Failure on my part: Filled out the Intent to Graduate form when I actually intended on graduating, which was ugh, a year ago, BUT the address on it was for Bunch's house (I lived there a year ago).
So I went to the records office to tell my story, their response was, "we have your degree audit complete, but you have not been certified to graduate by your college yet, go to your college, oh and yesterday was the last day to submit forms for Spring graduation so it will say August 2006, is that Ok?"
...30 minutes later I arrived at the Rosen College of Hospitality Management to speak with my longtime advisor Lori Ashby (previously Lori Ector, Lori Ward and I think she's probably been re-married again by now and that was just Wednesday). Anyway, she inquired about when I filled out my Intent form, and it was last year, my fault, oopsy! So, she got on the speakerphone to the person I spoke with at the Records office. She begged and pleaded to fax the forms in. Of course the lovely union employee she was at the records office immidetely stated the deadline was yesterday. Lori said, yeah I know the deadline was yesterday, but I'm sure that you are still getting forms, so when can I fax my two in? The lady reluctently said, send it by 5 and I'll mail it out tomorrow. "And it will still say May 2006 right?" "I guess I can type that in too..."
So a LONG, and quite annoying road with UCF has finally come to a close (or brief hault, I will get to that later). Lori also forgot to send in my certification papers in too, so "officially" I graduated on Wednesday. I'll wait for the diploma.
Ok, so brief hault story. (sorry I only promised once, but how often do I post about my life???)
As facebook and MySpace states Brian Wurmé is a Masters' student at UCF. We'll not entirely, but I do intend to enroll in a Masters Certificate program for Community College Education. No GRE or GMAT is required and with my overall UCF GPA of 3.011, I am confident that they will accept me in their 5 course on-line (not in line???) program. Maybe this time I'll remember to fill out the stupid forms.
